DON’T DELAY IN FILLING YOUR IMMIGRATION APPLICATIONS TO USCIS IF YOU WANT TO AVOID COMING FEE INCREASE!

The proposed changes in USCIS fees are an increase from 20% to 559%. For instance, the N-400, Application for Naturalization, is currently $640. The new fee will be $1,170, which is an 83% increase. Also, the fees for the I-485, Application for Adjustment of status, when filed together with I-765 and I-131 applications, will increase by at least 75%. (USCIS Proposed Fee Schedule!)
This USCIS fee increase will place an “invisible wall” would leave numerous hard-working, law-abiding noncitizens on the other side, blocking their path to naturalization and other immigration benefits and prompting their families’ long-term separation as the AILA and Council showed in their opposing comments to the USCIS fee changes.
